How does this zodiac sign finder work?
We use astronomical Sun positions for the tropical zodiac, with twelve equal 30-degree signs beginning at the March equinox. A date-only lookup checks a conservative range of possible birth times across world time zones. If that range spans a sign change, we show both possibilities instead of guessing.
Adding the recorded local birth time and a listed city resolves the instant using the city’s time zone. This is a Sun-sign lookup for dates from 1900 through today, not a full birth chart. Historical time-zone information depends on your browser, and a time very close to a sign change may need confirmation with a professional ephemeris.
Why might my sign differ from a date table?
